Ashchurch and Jones Lang LaSalle
Ashchurch were contracted by Jones Lang LaSalle to carry out the reconstruction of two Canopies at the Audley Shopping Centre in Derby, the two canopies had been damaged independently involving collisions with delivery lorries.
The works involved the micro demolition of the canopies and the renewal of two number Cantilever reinforced concrete stubs.
Once the stubs were cast and cured the timber roof decks were completed and covered using the Sika Sarnafil system.
These works were of a sensitive nature as it was essential to maintain access for the pedestrians using the shopping facilities, with this in mind the works were carried out during the night, the works.
